He continues to improve. At his age and plays for Barcelona, there’s no doubt he is the most valuable player in the world at the moment. He is value at €210.7m.

               #2  Dele Alli
2. Dele Alli (Tottenham) - €155.1m
One thing about English players is that they quickly get stuck and soon you ask yourself, I’ve I seen his best? Or is his best yet to come? Theo Walcot, Aaron Lennon, Wayne Rooney, the list can go on and on! Dele Alli is not over valued at €155.1m but let’s see if he can keep on improving or will stuck and then begins to fizzle out.

                     #3   Harry Kane
3. Harry Kane (Tottenham) - €153.6m
Not since the days of Alan Shearer have we seen an English striker that is as dangerous as Harry Kane. He has topped the Premier League goal scoring chart for the last two seasons, he is a hot property right now and valued at €153.6m, let’s hope his case is not like the other English men.
#4   Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is valued at €151.7m. Nothing last forever and even Messi was not to last forever! He has dazzled us for years and now we can only ask, how long will he keep dazzling us? His value and position suggests age is no more on his side.

#5  Antoine Grizemann

The Atletico man is valued at €150.3m – he still has more to offer but his value will be greatly enhanced if he can move to a club where he is sure of winning silverwares. For circumstances beyond his control, his proposed move to Manchester united hit the rocks – it would have really enhance his value next season.

#6  Luis Suarez
6. Luis Suarez (Barcelona) - €140.8m
Valued at €140.8m. Though he may never be valued higher than this, the Barcelona forward still has a lot to offer for both club and country for few more years.

#7   Paul Pogba
7. Paul Pogba (Manchester United) - €134.3m
The French international is valued at €134.3m. Last season, it was tough for him and his new club Manchester united. Age is on his side and he is already the most expensive player in the world football. Pogba is expected to dominate in midfield for club and country for years to come. And surely, his value will keep climbing. Let’s watch.

#8  Gonzalo Higuain
8. Gonzalo Higuain (Juventus) - €120.2m
I’m happy for Higuain – went he left Real Madrid for Napoli, most people thought it was done and dusted for him but the Juventus man had another thought. His value of €120.2m proves the Argentine forward is still a hot property playing for a big club.

#9   Eden Hazard
9. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) - €117.2m
The Chelsea star is valued at €117.2m and in 9th position but the Belgian has what it takes to soar even higher.
#10  Paulo Dybala
10. Paulo Dybala (Juventus) - €115.3m
Valued at €115.3m. The young Argentine forward is still learning his trade, so he has many years to go higher and higher in value and position.

#11  Cristiano Ronaldo
11. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - €112.4m
His value of €112.4m and 11th position is telling us that we have seen the best of him already. And yes, he gave it to us with a bang! At 32, we don’t expect much from him anymore but we are expected to say, thank you for you gave to us already, CR7.

#12  Kevin De Bruyne
12. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - €110.5m
With his value of €110.5m, this Manchester city forward and Belgium international has proved his doubters wrong, even a certain Mourinho.

   #13  Romelu Lukaku
13. Romelu Lukaku (Everton) - €105.4m
You have to be really good to play for a club of Everton’s status and your value is as high as €105.4m. The same man that sanctioned his sell to Everton has turned to him to help spearhead his Manchester United attack next season. Romelu Lukaku is now the reliable one.

#14   Robert Lewandowski
14. Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) - €100.6m
One can’t really tell if his value of €100.6m would have been higher if he was still playing for Dortmund not Bayern. But you can’t stop to ask, when will Bayern stop buying the Bundesliga title by buying Dortmund stars?

#15  Raheem Sterling
15. Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) - €98.8m
He proved some of us wrong by being one of Pep’s key players for Manchester city last season. His value of €98.8m is not a surprise.
#16   Yannick Ferreira Carrasco

His value of €98.6m shows how the Atletico Madrid forward has improved over the years.

#17  Alexis Sanchez
17. Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) - €95.9m
In Arsenal’s mediocre season, Sanchez was the only stand out performer. His value of €95.9m would have gone higher if Arsenal did not have such a poor season.
